The Property Services Department of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is procuring new contracts for Property Valuation Services on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA). The Valuation Consultants will be required to provide valuations, including year-end valuations for financial reporting purposes, insurance valuations and one off valuations for acquisitions/disposals and other purposes.

The Authority envisages the contract term to be 5 years, awarded in two separate lots as follows:

Lot 1: Valuation Services in support of the Operational Estate - The MPAs operational estate includes a portfolio of freehold and long leasehold properties including police stations, offices, warehouses, training facilities, wireless stations and other specialised operational buildings located throughout the 32 London Boroughs - estimated contract spend £100,000 - £150,000 p.a.

Lot 2: Residential Valuations The MPAs residential estate includes a portfolio of freehold and long-leasehold properties, including blocks of flats, individual flats and individual houses, and one mixed use property. 90% of these properties are located within the 32 London Boroughs; the remainder in the adjoining District Council areas - estimated contract spend £100,000 - £150,000 p.a.
