Thames crossing would build bridges

I've been reading up on Santiago Calatrava, arguably one of the world's greatest architects and certainly supreme in the art and engineering of bridges.

Consider the breathtaking structures he has designed all over the world: Trinity Bridge over the Irwell in Manchester, The Alameda in Valencia, Bac de Roda in Barcelona, Campo Volantin again...
