West Ham and Newham make joint Olympic Stadium bid

Premier League football club West Ham United and the London Borough of Newham are working on a plan for a joint bid to occupy the Olympic Stadium after the London 2012 Games that would also include the stadium being used for athletics, the council has confirmed.
