Rural pubs 'need more relief'

The Treasury should free up more money to allow local authorities to offer rural pubs and single shops 100 per cent rate relief for the next 12 months, according to the Federation of Small Businesses.

The FSB says local authorities can offer more than the mandatory 50 per cent relief currently offered, but none are doing so at the moment. Up to 500 village shops...
