Potential investors want to see a clear business plan and finances, says Richard Kennedy, social investment manager at CAN and a director of The SROI Network, both of which support social enterprises. "The plan needs to demonstrate your social change model, ambitions, unique selling points and how you plan to become self-sufficient," he says.
