City economies threatened by poor branding, study finds

The UK's regional cities are in danger of falling behind their European counterparts in the competition for trade, investment and tourism and need to better focus their brands, a study has found.

The study of 72 cities by Saffron Brand Consultants found that while many of the UK's regional cities had created strong international brands, other European cities could soon out-perform them...
