Vital Energi wins contract
Green energy supplier Vital Energi has won a contract to install a biomass energy system to provide heating to 358 homes at an eco-development in Northern Ireland. The contract, awarded by Belfast-based developer Carvill, requires Vital Energi to install four wood-burning boilers at the edge of the site in County Antrim.
Rhondda Cynon Taff Borough Council appoints Powell Dobson
Rhondda Cynon Taff Borough Council has appointed architects Powell Dobson to advise on street design in 11 town centres in south-east Wales. Powell Dobson will publish guidelines on successful street design. The guidance will include recommendations on appropriate materials, managing vehicles and minimising street clutter.
