By Jamie Carpenter Wednesday, 01 September 2010
National welfare to work membership body the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) has named Kirsty McHugh as its new chief executive.
McHugh will join ERSA in November from charity Business in the Community, where she is director of social policy and investment.
She will replace Hilary Clifford, who was appointed interim chief executive of ERSA in July following the departure of director Amanda McIntyre.
McHugh said: "This is a key time for the employment services sector, with the implementation of the Work Programme and changes to the benefits system likely to impact on every part of this sector. I look forward to leading ERSA through these changes."
