Analysis of the leaked British National Party membership list has highlighted Lancashire and West Yorkshire as hotbeds of support for the party, Regen.net can reveal.
A study of the list shows that Lancashire and West Yorkshire are home to around 850 BNP members each.
Essex has some 650 members, according to the research of the10,000-strong list.
London - with a population of 7 million - has only around 450 members, the research shows.
Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Kent host around 400 BNP supporters each, analysis shows.
The list - dating from 2006 - was posted on an internet blog last night by someone the Guardian describes as a "former hardliner".
It contains postal and email addresses, phone numbers and some personal details of members.
The membership contains some former police officers and army servicemen.
