A vision for regeneration

Mace is the driving force behind some of the UK's most ambitious and challenging urban regeneration schemes and is helping its clients turn visions and aspirations into projects which make a real and lasting difference.  Mace provides expert programme, project and development management at every stage in the regeneration process - actively engaging with the public sector, the private sector and the local community from concept to completion.

The CLM consortium made up of CH2M HILL, Laing O'Rourke and Mace has been appointed as the Olympic Delivery Authority's Delivery Partner, consolidating Mace's position as the UK's premier programme and project management company with a reputation for rethinking construction and reinvigorating urban environments and communities. Our experience, vision and planning will prove pivotal in creating a long-term sustainable use for the Games' facilities and accommodation beyond 2012.

Perhaps our most iconic current project, the Shard London Bridge, is also providing a regeneration vision for the London Borough of Southwark. This ‘vertical city' will include redevelopment and improvements to London Bridge station and its environs.

Mace was named Regeneration Consultant of the Year at the inaugural Regeneration Awards in 2004, has won Project Manager/Construction Manager of the Year four times in the last six years at the Building Awards and was named the overall winner at the 2006 MT/Unisys Service Excellence Awards.
