Regeneration & Renewal, 13 June 2008
A major conference examining how architects can face contemporary challenges is to take place at Oxford University.
The event, entitled The Oxford Conference 2008: Resetting the Agenda for Architectural Education, takes place on 22-23 July and will focus on issues such as climate change, increasing fuel prices, and growing urban populations.
Commenting on the conference, chair Sue Roaf said: "The architecture of the 21st century must assume its place at the heart of solutions to growing problems, and become a civilising and stabilising influence that enhances the quality of all our lives and strengthens our communities."
For more information, visit the conference's website at www.oxfordconference2008.co.uk.
