Regeneration & Renewal, 9 May 2008
Reports on all entrants shortlisted in the British Urban Regeneration Association's (Bura) Best Practice Awards 2008 are to be compiled and distributed to regeneration practitioners.
The move is an attempt by Bura to ensure that the lessons of leading regeneration projects are made widely available.
Dr Gareth Potts, Bura director of research, policy and best practice, said: "This effort to better capture and collate information on best practice is part of wider Bura efforts to expand its best practice programme by disseminating reports, networking and supporting winners."
Entries to the awards, first held in 1992, are currently being sought; the deadline for all entries is 6 June. For more information contact Bura on (tel) 020 7539 4030 or (email) awards@bura.org.uk.
