Worcestershire County Council head of planning, economy and research Mark Middleton has been seconded to an interim position as director of policy at the West Midlands Regional Assembly. The move is expected to last up to two years.
Retirement announced at Rother District Council

Frank Rallings has retired from his post as head of planning after 20 years at Rother District Council in East Sussex. He continues to work on European projects for the council and will lecture on planning at Brighton University later in the year.

Stephen Hurr has been promoted to head of planning at Pembrokeshire County Council. He was formerly a development plans officer. Jane Gibson has been made head of quality regeneration and tourism.
