Appointment at Central Salford Regeneration Company

Karen Hirst has been appointed director of development by Central Salford Regeneration Company. She was previously head of infrastructure for north Wales at the Welsh Assembly Government. Hirst has also worked as a director at the Easter Group.
Retirement at Birmingham City Council

David Pywell has retired from Birmingham City Council, where he was strategic director of development. He had a key role in projects such as the New University Hospital, the Bullring and the city's first transport strategy for more than 80 years.
