Appointment at Milton Keynes Partnership

John Lewis has been made chief executive of local delivery vehicle the Milton Keynes Partnership. Lewis joined this week from national regeneration agency English Partnerships, where he was regional director for eastern England and Milton Keynes. He replaces chief operating officer Jane Hamilton, who is retiring.
Appointment at Government Office for London

Chris Hayes, director of Jobcentre Plus in London, is to become regional director at the Government Office for London. Hayes has held senior civil servant posts at the Department for Work and Pensions, developing welfare reform programmes such as the New Deal and Pathways to Work. He will replace Liz Meek.
