Cardiff City FC stadium set to be built

A 30,000-seat stadium for Cardiff City Football Club is set to be built now that sufficient plots at a retail park planned next to the site have been let. The building of the stadium and the retail park was dependent on three-quarters of the plots being let first to secure funds to get the project off the ground. A total of £58 million has now been committed to the project, which should be completed by March 2009.
