Ways of prioritising regional transport investment in the East Midlands and the East of England are to be examined by Steer Davies Gleave. The consultancy aims to ensure that transport investment fits with spatial and economic objectives and will apply the method to schemes identified in the regional spatial strategies. The results of the work, commissioned by the East Midlands Regional Assembly and the East of England Regional Assembly, are due in December.
