The refurbishment of Nottingham's 32,500 council homes will be carried out by five contractors: Keepmoat, Bullock, Mears, Mulalley and Lovell. The appointment was made by the city's arms-length management organisation Nottingham City Homes, with the aim of bringing the houses up to the Government's decent homes standard. Work is scheduled to begin in September.

Developer teams shortlisted by Rotherham Council

Five developer teams have been shortlisted by Rotherham Council to regenerate five town centre sites, the first scheme in the town's Rotherham Renaissance initiative. The Westgate Demonstrator Project includes residential, retail and office accommodation. The shortlisted teams are led by developers Bioregional Quintain, Blueroom Properties, City Estates, CTP and Iliad.
