The North-West Regional Development Agency has appointed Nash Thakker as project manager of the Millom Market Town Partnership. He will be responsible for developing and marketing Millom in Cumbria as part of a national drive to revitalise market towns as hubs for the local rural economies. Thakker joins from Swale Borough Council, where his duties included undertaking market town regeneration activities on the Isle of Sheppey.
