Appointment at Advantage West Midlands

Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands has appointed Mick Laverty as chief executive. Laverty is currently AWM's deputy chief executive with responsibility for projects and programmes including major land and property developments. Laverty will succeed John Edwards who stands down in April next year, after eight years in charge.
