Graham Thompson, managing director and controller of programmes at ITV Tyne Tees Television, has joined the board of Tees Valley Regeneration. Thompson's knowledge of the region is seen as a welcome addition to the board, which has several outstanding projects in the pipeline.

Appointment at Forum for the Built Environment

Property and construction industry networking organisation the Forum for the Built Environment has appointed Howard Gadd as its regional director for Wales. Gadd was previously business development director for construction company Leadbitter in Bristol.

Appointment at Ethical Property Foundation

The Ethical Property Foundation, property development adviser to the charitable and community sectors, has appointed Halina Pasiecznik as regional manager in its Bristol office and geography graduate Rachel Cass as advice and administration assistant in its London office. Pasiecznik is a partner in regeneration consultancy Vivid Regeneration.

Appointment at Advantage West Midlands

Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands has appointed Carla Corbett and Ivan Kite as development managers in its development team. Corbett joins from property adviser King Sturge where she provided acquisition and disposal advice to the public and private sector for seven years. Kite joins from Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council where he worked on the Dudley Zoo and Castle Hill Development.

An online resource for developers and planners in the South-West has been launched by the South-West of England Regional Development Agency. The South-West Sustainability Checklist for Developments aims to speed up the assessment and approval of planning applications by enabling developers and planning authorities to assess the sustainability of designs for proposed mixed-use and housing schemes.
