LCI appoints architects for major casino scheme

London Clubs International (LCI) has appointed architects Burrows Cave International (BCi) for a major casino scheme at the Equinox site in London's Leicester Square. The casino, which will feature restaurants, bars, gambling areas and chill-out zones, is due for completion in March next year. BCi has also been appointed to work on LCI's new-model regional casinos in Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham and Leeds, each of which is around 4,645m2.

Business park at Longbridge to treble in size

A business park at Longbridge in Birmingham is to treble in size following planning permission for a further 18,580m2 of offices and 800 car parking spaces. Parklands Reserve in the region's central technology belt will be expanded with three extra buildings, adding to the 10,219m2 built on the 12ha wooded landscaped business park. HBG Properties is likely to start work on the next phase before the end of the year.
