The Laindon town centre regeneration project in Basildon is set to proceed after Neptune Land and Colonnade Holdings announced that they will submit plans next spring. Basildon District Council is prepared to transfer its holdings to Neptune and use compulsory purchase orders if necessary to assemble further land for the development.
