A scheme to replace Rochdale's bus station will receive £10 million of government funding, transport minister Rosie Winterton has announced. The Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive hopes to secure the rest of the funding for the £11.5 million interchange, which will be built on land near the existing bus station, by January.
