Cut-price trips over Dartford Crossing

Cut-price trips over the Dartford Crossing for local residents are proposed by the Department for Transport. Cars using the Thames crossing are currently charged £1. Under the proposals, Dartford and Thurrock residents would be able to make 50 free journeys a year and then be charged 20p for each subsequent journey.
