Camden to plug regeneration funding gap

The London Borough of Camden has announced that it will plug a shortfall in regeneration funding with cash from its reserves, letting it fund 50 community projects in 2008/09. Earlier this month, the council was told that it stood to lose out on £9.2 million of Working Neighbourhoods Fund cash over the next three years after a statistical blunder by Whitehall officials (R&R, 8 February, p1).
Satellite communications programme announced
