Baroness Vadera to replace Stephen Timms

Baroness Vadera has joined the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform as parliamentary under secretary, replacing Stephen Timms. Vadera, a former policy adviser to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, joins from the Department for International Development (DfID). She will be responsible for competitiveness and deregulation.
