West Northamptonshire Development Corporation has appointed Harj Dhaliwal as director of infrastructure delivery. Dhaliwal has been responsible for developing, managing and delivering transport schemes including Midlands Metro, Manchester Metrolink and the Dublin Metro. In his new role he will lead the delivery of infrastructure projects in West Northamptonshire.

Liz Meek has been appointed regional director of the Government Office for the North-West (GONW). Meek will leave her current role at the Government Office for London in the spring. She replaces current GONW regional director Keith Barnes.
