Dale Evans has been appointed as a director of RPS based in its Bristol office. Alan Pearce has been promoted to principal consultant. Kathryn Perry has been promoted to senior planner. Andy Dolby has been promoted to technical director and will manage RPS's Durham office.

Esther Kurland has been appointed as a senior planning adviser by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. She moves from the London Plan team at the Greater London Authority, where she worked on built environment policies for the London Plan.

Jackie Sadek has been appointed as the first chief executive of the Kent Thamesside Delivery Board. She was previously chief executive of the Paddington Regeneration Partnership. Sadek is also deputy chairwoman of the British Urban Regeneration Association.

David Glasson has been appointed as a principal planner by Acorus Rural Property Services in Wolverhampton. He will work on business development and rural planning projects in England and Wales. Glasson previously worked for the ODPM and the National Farmers Union.

Michael Lowndes has been appointed as planning director by Turley Associates in the firm's London office. He was previously planning director at TP Bennett. Lowndes has also worked at Westminster City Council as principal urban design and conservation officer.

Jim Claydon and Jan Molyneux have been appointed as technical directors by Terence O'Rourke, which is opening an office in Bath. Claydon joins from the University of the West of England, where he was head of the school of planning and architecture. Molyneux joins from King Sturge, where she was a senior associate and head of planning.
