MOVES: Appointment at Development Land and Planning Consultants

Alun Rees has been appointed to head Development Land and Planning Consultants' new Cardiff office. He will also lead the transportation team. Andrew Hodgson has joined the firm's Bedford office as an associate planner and Matthew Hard has been appointed as a planning assistant.

Glen Langham has been appointed as a senior planner in Birmingham, joining from Entec. Ellen Twigger has been promoted to planner and Laura McKenzie has joined as a planning assistant.

Mark Haseley has joined the Derek Halden Consultancy as a principal consultant. His responsibilities will include business travel planning, accessibility planning and carrying out travel behaviour research. Haseley was previously with Arup in Edinburgh.

Steve Dewar and Rosemary Coyne have been appointed as sustainability advisers at Birmingham City Council to advise on the regeneration of Eastside. Dewar will look at the environmental impact of development and Coyne will focus on open space design in the area. Both have been seconded from environmental charity Groundwork Birmingham.
