The Housing Corporation gives backing to Community Land Trusts

Social housing regulator the Housing Corporation has given its backing to the formation of Community Land Trusts, a form of development whereby the residents of a community jointly own their neighbourhood. The corporation will pay Salford University £150,000 to research how housing associations can do more to encourage the trusts.
