Plans for a tram line extension submitted

Plans for a tram line extension in the West Midlands will be submitted to the Government after councillors on the West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority this week agreed the details of the new line. WMPTA will bid for £322 million of government funding for the extension between the city centre and regeneration areas such as Brierley Hill.
