Trial of Kumar Murshid

The verdict in the trial of Kumar Murshid, a former race adviser to London mayor Ken Livingstone, was delayed as Regeneration & Renewal went to press after a jury member fell ill. Murshid is accused of stealing thousands of pounds from a youth programme while a councillor at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
