Park in east Manchester to receive funding for improvements

A park in east Manchester is to receive £350,000 from the North-West Regional Development Agency, European funds and East Manchester New Deal for Communities. The funding will pay for improvements to the 12.5ha Phillips Park, including repairs, partial rebuilding of boundary walls and upgrading of entrances.
