Plans to build the UK's largest community-owned wind farm look set to go ahead after the co-operative behind it announced a successful £3 million share flotation last week. Westmill Wind Co-operative claims that its planned wind farm in Watchfield, Oxfordshire, will supply enough energy for 2,500 homes.
