Fazakerley development given go ahead

A business park development in Fazakerley, Liverpool, has been given the go ahead. Developer Priority Sites is working in partnership with Liverpool Land Development Company to take forward the project to create light industrial business space on the former Fazakerley Open Air School site. LLDC said the park would create up to 300 local jobs.

Barclays bank and pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca are among the firms shortlisted for their partnerships with cultural or arts organisations as part of charity Arts & Business annual awards scheme. The five finalists offer successful examples of how the two sectors can work well together. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony on 3 April.
