Developer Berkeley Homes has won planning permission for the development of the All Saints Hospital site in the Meads Conservation Area of Eastbourne. The scheme will see the hospital converted into 53 apartments, with a further 53 created in new buildings elsewhere on the site. Landscaping will take place around the new homes.

Acton project started

A project to transform the historic town centre of Acton in west London was completed this week. The space known as 'the Mount', now has natural paving, new street lighting and benches. The project was a collaboration involving the mayor of London, Action Acton, Transport for London and Ealing Council.
