IOM's Department of Transport commissions JMP Consulting

JMP Consulting has been commissioned by the Isle of Man's Department of Transport to update the southern sector of its traffic model. The project aims to take account of traffic and development growth since the model was introduced in 2001. The Lower Douglas area covers most of the main retail and employment areas of the island's capital, where measures to ease congestion are being considered. The updated model will look at how to improve the management of traffic covering generated by projected developments including two hotels, offices and housing.
