Residents in the South Kilburn New Deal for Communities area in north London, have been invited to influence the future look and design of new homes to be built in the area. Brent Council and South Kilburn NDC were awarded £9.85 million from the Single Regional Housing Pot in March for the building of new homes. They are asking volunteers to join a working group to help shape the design of the new blocks.

The federation has written to Lord Rooker, the minister responsible for regeneration, urging him to publish a timetable for the allocation of grants.
