A community pharmacy providing vital health facilities for a Scottish Highland town was opened last week. The Scottish Executive has provided a £124,000 grant for the pharmacy in Dornoch. The pharmacy is intended to provide easy access to medical advice and other health services through its consultation and treatment rooms, as well as opportunities for practitioners to deliver outreach services and treatment for drug abuse.
