Roy Templeman has been appointed chief executive of Chester-le-Street District Council. He has worked in local government for 28 years in Coventry and York and has been involved in environmental policy and regeneration since 1987.

David Donaldson has been appointed as director of planning by the Farningham McCreadie Partnership in Belfast. He joins from Michael Burroughs Associates and will be responsible for clients throughout Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
