The study, commissioned by Wakefield City Council, will record the condition of the parks, including paths, lakes and ponds, bowling greens, tennis courts and formal gardens. The audit is likely to be completed in April.

Urban Cultures is taking its urban planning skills down under in a project for the Australian Capital Territory. The consultancy will evaluate the need for new and improved performing arts venues and facilities in the City West precinct of central Canberra. Urban Cultures will also propose a strategy for the development of City West as a cultural production quarter, building from existing venues and the Australian National University's arts departments. The study is being carried out with SGS Economics and Planning and Williams Ross Architects, both of Melbourne, and is due to report in July.
