Moves: Appointment at Mendip District Council

Derek Hooper has retired from Mendip District Council as environment director after 13 years at the local authority. He is planning to do a 1,000km sponsored walk along the South West coast path to raise money for Sport Relief. He is replaced at the council by Charles Uzzell, who joins from North Wiltshire District Council as business manager, planning and environment.
