The Government's architecture watchdog has strengthened its design review committee by appointing more experts from regeneration, archaeology and estate management disciplines. Each year the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment's committee comments formally on around 70 development projects in England, ranging from proposals for tall buildings to plans for retail developments.
