He will continue in this role via a part-time secondment.

Eric Sorensen has been made chief executive of the Thames Gateway London Partnership. He was chief executive of the London Docklands Development Corporation for six years before leading the Millennium Commission and the London Development Partnership. Sorensen will take up his new post early next year.
