Charity accounting rules to be eased

The income thresholds above which charities must produce more detailed financial accounts are to be raised, the Office of the Third Sector has said.

From April, charities will have to prepare more stringent accounts when they earn £250,000 or more. The previous threshold for providing regulator the Charity Commission with such accounts was £100,000....
